Sarah and James

This was a new adventure for me too! I had never really done a carved cake covered in fondant before.
The story behind these cow cakes is that the bride raises black angus cattle and the groom raises hereford cattle. So rather than having just plain sheet cakes to make up for more servings of cake, they decided to have a little bit more creative flare to serve their guests.

Congratulations to my cousin Cameron and his new wife Ali. What a fun time we all had at your wedding!!
This cake was so fun, I had never done triangles before. Although it had to travel five hours it made it in one piece. The flavor was lemon poppy seed with lemon fillling, it was a great new flavor to add to my collection. The kids at the reception had a wonderful time eating the sugar flowers-so cute!!
