Syringa's Cake

Syringa's cake was amazing! After several redesigns, this is what she settled on and I think it matched the theme of her wedding beautifully! Inside this fondant draped cake was a special carrot cake recipie that belonged to her Grandmother. The cake was so delicious and will certainly be added among my recipies for wedding cake flavors.

A couple I have known since they were tiny, grew up in our church together and now are starting their new journey. What a beautiful wedding!

This cake had three flavors- chocolate, lemon, and carrot cake,and covered in rolled fondant. Since the couple are very in to music, a gum paste ribbon of music flows up and over the cake. Thank you Seth and Sarah for letting me have a part in your special day!!!

This couple picked a wonderful spring color for this time of year, all the lilacs are in bloom and smell fantastic. Very beautiful on a purple cake.

Preston and Katrina

I got the privilege to design this cake with Katrina who I have known for a long time and consider her part of my family. This cake was the most fun I have had on any cake so far, and represents what a fun couple they are. It was so wonderful to see how in love she is with Preston and I know they will have a great life together.

This was my first wedding cake, first asymmetrical, and first whimsical style cake. A huge challenge for me to do first, but I wouldn't have picked anything else. I had a great time designing it with this couple and my friend who helped me a lot. It was so fun and I learned TONS!!!
